Monthly BPOU Meeting in June

In the June meeting we voted to recommend several candidates for local, nonpartisan office. See our Endorsements page for information on our Endorsed and Recommended candidates.

Early Voting for Primary Elections Began June 26

Includes local Mayors, City Councils, Anoka County Board, and some Statewide races. 



July 2026

No BPOU Meeting in July

However, there are some other exciting opportunities in July. 


   July 14 - "Summer in the City" 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Alder Park, 50 104th Ave., Coon Rapids (in House District 35B, where Steve Pape is running for State Rep.)

July 21 thru July 26 - Anoka County Fairgrounds

We will have a booth at the County Fair. Come out to enjoy the fair and support the candidates.

August 2026

No BPOU Meeting in August

Instead, come to our Family Picnic in the Park.

Thursday, August 13th.
6:00-8:00 PM at Peninsula Point Park, 1460 S Ferry Rd, in Anoka.  


August 4 - National Night Out : Night to Unite
